Best screwdriver for opening up a Vistron MX-200i?
« on: 10:32:10 | 19 November, 2011 »
Bearing in mind I'm having to order a couple of Lm2940ct voltage regulators from http://www.rapidonline.com/Electronic-Components/Lm2940ct-5-1a-Regulator-82-0678 and paying postage, I might as well order the right screwdriver to get inside the radio, too!

I've managed to snap the shaft on the only on that fitted, one from a cheap watchmaker-size pack from Poundland. Superglue and tape bodge to screwdriver failed!

There's a whole load here: http://www.rapidonline.com/Tools-Equipment/Hand-Tools/Screwdrivers

I've got a fair few here that look the right length, but the shafts are a bit to thick for the long, thin, deep slot on the Vistron (oo-er!)

Any ideas? Thanks!
