Grundig IR6114 crashing out
« on: 17:14:15 | 21 April, 2012 »
I have a Grundig ir6114 that is about 5 years old. It has needed the occasional reset, but otherwise OK.  Now the on/off switch doesn't work and when I unplug and then replug, I get a message on the screen "Reciva Radio ARM Powered", then a message "Initialising Network" and then it just stops, backlit screen says for a while and then switches off (intermittent).

I'd do a factory reset, but I can't get that far.  Normally I'd be polishing a paperclip looking for a little hole that says "nuke here", but it does not have one of those either.

Any suggestions?

Sounds like it could be the power supply (7.5v wall wart)
Have you tried another one?
