Trying to The 90s Network to Reciva for months now
« on: 06:30:01 | 16 May, 2017 »
Hi,

I'm hoping that I am in the right place. Myself and my friend who operate The 90s Network have been trying for months to add the station to Reciva without any luck.
Is there any chance you could add our station from here?
We keep getting "station already added or stream already added" but they will not show up in search bar.

The radio station is called "The 90s Network"
The stream which is brand new is https://uk1.streamingpulse.com:2199/tunein/phifagan.pls

Many thanks

The station was already there but with an obsolete stream URL. The URL has been updated. The logo is also back again.

Many thanks for the quick response. The station is back on the list however the stream is not working. Its working on other devices so I wonder did you the correct stream (.pls)?
It has passed the stream test.

I just checked, the url used by reciva is http://uk1.streamingpulse.com:2199/tunein/phifagan.pls

It is working in the VLC media player on my Mac so the pls URL itself must be okay. According to VLC it resolves to http://146.185.18.251:7020/.

For what it's worth: The 90s Newtork is listed on wifiradio-frontier, but does not work.

http://uk1.streamingpulse.com:2199/tunein/phifagan.pls and http://146.185.18.251:7020/ both work as Added Stations on my Frontier-based radio, streaming MP3 at 128kbps.

Could this again be a Reciva server propagation problem?
Radios in use: Roberts Stream 93i, Sangean WFR-29C, Technisat 450 & 520, Revo Pixis RX, Hama DIT2010 & DIR3100. See 'Small Ads' section for Reciva radios for sale.

Don't know, but when I go to https://radios.reciva.com/station/43099 and add it to My Stations, my radio finds the station immediately and starts playing it without any problems.

As of 2000 UTC 19 May 2017, a 'Search' via the menu on my Logik IRMAI running Reciva v257-a-865-a-476 firmware finds 'The 90s Network' and plays it without problem. 128 kbit/s MP3.
