Hardly any internet radios can play https streams or podcasts. Stream providers either don't know this, or do know it and don't care. You could try contacting the stream provider to ask them if they still have an http stream URL available.

It may be possible to listen to such streams & podcasts on Alexa or Chromecast type devices. Here I cannot advise, but other forum members do have such things and may be able to say more.

http://wifiradio-frontier.com is the correct and only portal for Frontier Silicon based radios like your Roberts.
Radios in use: Roberts Stream 93i & SB1 (×2), Revo Pixis RX, Hama DIT2100, IR110 & DIR3500, Technisat 520. No smart speakers, no voice-control gadgets.

Thanks for the reply
I have contacted www.wifiradiofrontier.com/ and they where good enough to reply saying

''that it is down to the podcast maker" I have contacted  the podcast maker and waiting on a reply :-(

on a side note I have made an internet radio from a raspberry pi works really well..

just seems like the roberts radio is a waste of money

Grace Digital plus radios can play https podcasts,  but those radios aren't available in Europe.  So the mentioned computers, Google home and Amazon echoes are your choices.
Radios:  Grace GDI-IRMS300, Grace IRC6000B, 2 Grace GDI-WHA6001, Grace  GDI-WHA 7501, Grace GDI-WHA8001, Hama DIT2100MSBT Grace and Reciva iradio apps

It was a reference to Logitech Media Server aka SlimServer.
It is for the Logitech Squeezebox range (no longer made) of hardware but supports much more than that. If you install and run it you can then connect to it from an internet radio.
Reciva-based Logik IR100 and Tangent Quattro MKII plus lots of Logitech (ex-Slimdevices) Squeezebox and 2 old Turtlebeach Audiotron, handful of O2 Jogglers and some Raspberry Pis

amusing you mean install  Logitech Media Server on to a pc/laptop  that will mean I have to have a pc on to hold my podcasts and then stream it to my Roberts,

I already use plex media server for that

but its not what I am looking for thanks

@Griss Glad you're amused... However, I refer to http/https in this item just published here:

I dont understand what you mean lol...

how about we start a campaign with Roberts radio and demand HTTP & HTTPS support

if every one emailed them with the same problem

they might listen to us

The issue for the older radios tends to be the amount of memory available and the speed of the processor which prevents them from including it.

How much free memory is there in the Roberts model that you have?
