Reciva-based radios for sale: Avox/DNT/Roberts/Lenco
« on: 05:45:46 | 02 March, 2017 »
Are any Reciva fans out there interested in giving any of the radios listed below a good home? They are all used, and in working order; some are Sharpfinned. They are currently located in Germany, but I can bring them over to England (Kent) in July for cheaper shipping if required. I will accept reasonable offers in sterling or euros; payment can be by bank transfer, by PayPal or by UK cheque.

Avox Indio Grand (similar to black Grace Encore), with USB-LAN adaptor.

DNT IPdio Tune (similar to Grace Tuner): earlier (v257) version, black, with Legacy Enhanced (a.k.a. Beta) firmware and Sharpfin patch.

Avox Indio Classic: with Legacy Enhanced (a.k.a. Beta) firmware and Sharpfin patch. Edited to use the later, nicer Avox remote (supplied). Original remote also supplied, but the rubber back has got rather sticky.

Lenco IR-2100B, black, earlier version with integrated mains unit. Legacy Enhanced (a.k.a. Beta) firmware.

Roberts WM-201 with Legacy Enhanced (a.k.a. Beta) firmware.

(None of these radios can do Pandora).

Wow. Looks like you're abandoning Reciva altogether?  :(

More or less. I'm keeping a couple (like my first internet radio, an old AE) for old times' sake, but I don't use any of the rest any more, and I'd rather they go to someone who has a use for them than to the dump. Since the old laptop I kept my Sharfin stuff on it died, I can't be bothered with Sharpfinning any more, and the newer Frontier radios offer more features than Reciva ever got around to (DAB+, Spotify, Bluetooth, app control). So, yes, I'm giving up Reciva.

Both you and Grace Digital, apparently.  Did that Grace Solo you bought from me finally give up the ghost?
Radios:   Grace GDI-IRA500, 2 GDI-IRDT200s, GDI-IRMS300, Grace IRC6000W, Grace and Reciva iradio apps, Yamaha RN500 receiver (V Tuner)

I'll hang onto my four Reciva radios (they do exactly what I want them to do, except perhaps the WM-201 who doesn't like the GraceRemote app very much) until the Reciva portal has evaporated into thin air... I'm following developments at Grace Digital with interest though.
