Title: dd-wrt and ShoutCAST port forwarding ...
Post by: Alan E Hill on 07:17:05 | 06 May, 2013
Any ideas why port forwarding isn't working through my dd-wrt flashed router?

Yes ... everything's set ... just not working. I understand there are issues with dd-wrt.

Are you testing from a 'client' on the same router as the 'server' you are port forwarding to?  I've come across instances where that does not work even though external access to the server through the router works perfectly.

I just flashed the latest version and now it works ... obviously until now this issue was a feature ;-)

So LiquidLOUNGE is once again available to my adoring public, although atm it's limited to a selection of British beat boy revivals.
The LiquidLOUNGE Library has taken over 24 hours so far to back up into its new location, so a few more hours before it's back to its usual eclectic self.

Using a new source too. The old Dell finally gave up the ghost ... it was 12 years old. I had intended to move to ShoutCAST2, but I had a go, but it became daunting so I've reverted to ShoutCAST1. The Dell was fixable, but I thought it deserved a peaceful end.

I, and the 7 other fans (at a time), eagerly await the gala relaunching of the Liquid Lounge channel.  ;)

Are Liquid Refreshments supplied to go with? In which case, I'll join in, and double the numbers of adoring public...

Without bribery... I'm out!  ;)
