Pandora for sale?
« on: 00:38:30 | 12 February, 2016 »
Looks like all is not quite hunky-dorey in Padora's world, either. Seems their market value has dropped five thousand million dollars in two years, and they're looking for a buyer:

"Pandora refuses to comment on rumors of sale" (VentureBeat.com, http://venturebeat.com/2016/02/11/pandora-refuses-to-comment-on-rumors-of-sale)

"Pandora Is Said to Have Held Talks About Selling Itself" (New York Times, http://www.nytimes.com/2016/02/12/business/dealbook/pandora-is-said-to-have-held-talks-about-selling-itself.html?_r=0)

"Internet-Radio Pandora mit Verlust" (teltarif.de (German), http://www.teltarif.de/pandora-radio-streaming-bilanz/news/62784.html)
Radios in use: Roberts Stream 93i & SB1 (×2),  Revo Pixis RX, Hama DIT2010, IR110 & DIR3500, Technisat 520, Sangean WFR-29C.

More here:  http://rainnews.com/pandora-aims-for-4b-business-as-brian-mcandrews-lays-out-key-lines-of-strategy/

"Note also that Pandora is publicly planning to expand geographically, a new territorial reach made possible by direct-negotiated music label licensing deals that cross national boundaries."

Pandora is still US-only, isn't it? Plus Canada, maybe? Unlike Spotify...

I know that Pandora is accessible on Grace radios (being Reciva-based), but what about Frontier Silicon-based radios in the US?
