You'll probably be able to 'stream' your songs through <My Stuff> but it'll be one file or group of files at a time.  I doubt that you'll be able to create playlists and other category-types organization like you could using "MP3tunes" through Reciva.  But I am interested on how things will  work out for you.  So PLEASE let us know!

I've been looking for an alternative the MP3tunes since its demise.  It's flexibility and play-ability with Grace Digital products  and Reciva spoiled me considerably.  I haven't been able to find a reasonable replacement.

My problem is too many of the major platforms won't let you easily stream mp3 products that you have without some pretty wacky constraints.  Very little of what I want to stream is a mix of copyrighted and non-copyrighted mp3 materials; ie. speeches, lectures, etc.

And I haven't found anyone that handles this stuff nearly as smoothing as mp3tues did.
Right now I'm using  OpenDrive and I'm trying to use Kiwi6.   If you find something as a suitable replacement for MP3tunes, please post here!

Hey Paragon,

Thanks for advice. I have mean rather, Suggestion for Guys from Reciva, for replace MP3Tunes on Spotify. Something like, Users from US can log in to account in Pandora via Reciva:)
No I don't know, any other service, that can work like MP3Tunes worked on Reciva platform.

Thanks

There's been some discussion about adding Spotify to "my streams," http://recivarefuge.net/forum/index.php?topic=526.0, for example.  I never got it to work for me.  I'm hoping that eventually Grace or Reciva integrates Spotify service in the same manner as Pandora.

I hope too. :)
Please sign this petition, link You can find in my first post.

Yeah!
"Hi, Reciva would be delighted to implement Spotify. We have almost one million radios in the hands of end users across many brands. We make the number one best selling internet radio on Amazon in the USA (and the number two), we have a large product pipeline and an exciting technology roadmap. We are ready and willing. Please send the API. Regards, Ben Terrell CEO, Reciva"

And second bad news:
"Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but we don't have the ability to do spotify right now.
If we were to implement it, we would most likely need an agreement with them and then the software would need to be written (as it was with the others), so it would take time.

You are not the first person to request this feature though, I've made a record of it along with the other requests  for Spotify and it will be brought up at the next company meeting as a possibility for a new extra service.

Best regards and apologies,
David Parker

Hi,

I decided to refresh this thread, because today I've found this interesting announcement on Spotify's site: http://goo.gl/rPc80a
"Today, in collaboration with the leaders in home audio, Spotify launches Spotify Connect - a new home audio experience giving you effortless control of your music across your phone, tablet and speakers with millions of songs built right in."

Maybe there is hope to add Spotify to Reciva, if not now, when?:)

Interesting that Spotify Connect is announced on the same day Grace comes out with a new bluetooth speaker and amplifier.  http://www.amazon.com/Grace-Digital-GDI-BTSP201-Bookshelf-Bluetooth/dp/B00DS5QZYO/ref=sr_1_11?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1378249274&sr=1-11&keywords=grace+bluetooth+speakers and http://www.amazon.com/Grace-Digital-GDI-BTAR502-Integrated-Amplifier/dp/B00E1CZRLK/ref=pd_sim_sbs_e_3

I'd guess that if any deal between Spotify and Reciva were in the works, the Grace speakers would work with Spotify Connect, but apparently they don't.

If you can find one - get a Joggler O2 - easy to install Logitech Media Server and the Spotify plugin.

I run mine via this amp:  http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUNE-X2-MK2-TPA3121-Mini-Amp-30Wx2-30-w-Watt-2-Channel-Hi-Fi-Amplifier-Bluetooth-/251309560318 driving Mordaunt-Short ms-3.4 speakers.

I don't think the Joggler ever made it out of the UK.

I think they were also available in Norway & Switzerland - or a modified version.

They occasionally appear on eBay - there was quite a glut about 2-3 months ago.  Somebody must have come across a lost consignment!

I have Spotify Premium at £9.99 a month so that I can add albums to my Smart phone to listen off line on the car radio and with an Aux in cable to listen on my Internet Radios.
