Wanted v257-a-865-a-476 full
« on: 07:25:04 | 02 February, 2014 »
Where to get the file above, my sharpfinned tune will only download a 14kB 257-a-865-a-476.patch file. The radio did not eat this patch file, spinning forever around searching in the patchserver. If someone having the full fw release, please mail it to me. Thanks

Bye

14 Kbyte is the full size of that patch file (13,617 bytes to be precise).  Did you also download the patch.txt file?

(The complete firmware of approximately 16 Mbyte is not directly available for download from Reciva and even it you had it the radio cannot flash it.  It can be flashed using JTAG but that involves connecting a JTAG interface to the radios's internals - there is no socket for this - and it takes the best part of 24 hours for the flashing to complete.  It is really a last resort for "bricked" radios.  If your radio is working, the Sharpfin upgrade method should work.   You imply that the patch file was downloaded recently which means that you must have already modified a file in the radio to contain the updated Reciva server address as described in other posts on the forum.)

Thank you, got the bug. On sunday the reciva servers did not appear in my patchserver, maybe they were down. Today they are up and the radio respond to the download. Now the 476 is installed well, but i have to sharpfin the radio again.
