Custom use of LC-Display of HAMA receiva (w. Sharkfin)
« on: 04:44:56 | 13 November, 2014 »
Hi,

I installed the sharpfin software(patch) on my Hama Internet Reciva radio quiet a couple of years ago and it runs beautifully.

Now, I'm wondering if I could display some informations from my weahterstation (temp/humidity, etc.) on the 2 Line LC-Display of the reciva.

Is there any simple way to pipe ASCII into some device displaying it on the Display?  To me, it seems the display itself is directly triggered by the reciva-software and does not have
any driver oder device in linux, is this correct?

Thanks  a lot for your help!

Cheers,
