Alexa speaker with DECT telephony - Call 234 76 76 76 etc and the speaker dials and connects.  ALSO a first - speaker is listed as a squeezebox player in LMS.
Originally 199 euros, now 70, at amazon. de

Are you really saying that this Gigaset speaker has native Squeezebox functionality? Ot do you just mean it implements DLNA/UPnP which Philippe's plugin interfaces to LMS.

UPnP (from info that castalla posted on Squeezebox forum).
Reciva-based Logik IR100 and Tangent Quattro MKII plus lots of Logitech (ex-Slimdevices) Squeezebox and 2 old Turtlebeach Audiotron, handful of O2 Jogglers and some Raspberry Pis

In which case it isn't really a first.  Google's smart speakers (and Chromecast dongles) have long been showing up in LMS systems that had Philippe's Chromecast bridge installed.

Possibly first Alexa one ... although maybe Sonos did that.

I meant a first for Alexa Echo devices - the Gigaset must have a separate Upnp feature built-in.  It''s very problematical to get Upnp on Alexa devices (if at all).
